Universal College and school of Nursing, Bengaluru Admission Process

Universal College and School of Nursing, Bengaluru, is a most respected provider of quality nursing education in Karnataka. Degree wise Admission Process

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): The college offers a diploma program in GNM, having an available intake of 50 seats. Specific admission information seems lacking, as candidates would conventionally need to have studied 10+2 with science subjects.

B.Sc Nursing: This four-year undergraduate course has an approved intake of 60 seats. Admission procedure clearly cites that the selection of candidates is based on the merit of the entrance examination. Hence, all students are encouraged to work hard studying for this entrance examination having in mind the related science subjects.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This course has 15 seats to upgrade the qualifications of registered nurses. Generally, a candidate would be required to have a diploma in nursing and be registered as a nurse.

M.Sc Nursing: The following specialties are available at the Master's level, with each having an approved intake of 5 seats each:

  • M.Sc Medical Surgical nursing
  • M.Sc Pediatric Nursing
  • M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing
  • M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing

In most instances, candidates have to be holders of the B.Sc Nursing degree to be eligible for these master's programs. The information concerning the entrance examination and/or the interview will not, however, be shared.
