Dear Student,

If you are going to take admission in Delhi the definitely you can take but you will be counted as a outside student. for Delfi home state you need the caste certificate of Delhi and also domicile certificate of Delhi then you will be eligible for OBC reservation.

As you don't have any of the Delhi so you will not come under the state quota.

Good luck :)

Dear Sankalp,

Academics wise, in most of the colleges is almost same and you have to study on your own but the colleges you have listed above have the best faculties.

VMMC - You will get delhi quota for pg. Safdarjung hospital has the largest opd so you will get excellent clinical exposure, helpful seniors, good alumni connections, good pg:ug seat ratio(sort of internal pg quota), campus is not very big but college life is amazing. No service bond after MBBS.

KGMU - It caters large number of patients so good clinical exposure. It has a golden era of its own with great alumni. Two  Years of rural service bond.

AIIMS Bhopal -  You will get aiims tag in the first two, three of them are central universities with internal pg quota. I have ranked them according to my priority. You will also get good amount of research opportunities.

IMS - It is an Excellent institute but with a very disciplined life. Choose only if u want it, but it will be a good experience on its own.

Overall, Aiims bhopal is best. Initially BHU was better one as it was giving preference for internal students. But now, there is no such type of internal preferences. So now AIIMS will a better choice plus the brand tag of aiims also works everywhere . Facilities like mess, hostel etc. are gone quite old at BHU.

Hope this helps.

All the Best!!

Hello aspirant,

Hope you doing well

You should score minimum above 660 marks in NEET to be safe due to various factors i.e

  • Difficulty level of NEET paper
  • Number of aspirants appeared for NEET exam
  • previous year cutoff trends

Below i have mentioned cutoff of ranks of VMMC, Delhi for general category

  • 2019=                ROUND 1 - 92                  ROUND 2 - 157
  • 2020=                ROUND 1 - 138                ROUND 2 - 163

From above you get some idea about OBC category

Hope this information helps you

Hello!

Internal quota means that a certain percentage of the seats is reserved for it’s own students. So in case of VMMC, 50% seats are available via All India quota while the rest 50% are reserved from the students  who have studied in IPU (VMMC, BSA, NDMC).

For the year wise quota it signifies how long for your quota is valid. If you take admission after that number of years, it will not be valid anymore.

Honest opinion, if you’re looking for a UG college, reservations in PG should be last factor to see. Focus more on academics and peer group.

Wishing you the best of luck!

Hello aspirant,

In NEET 2020 the cutoff for SC category in VMMC and Safdarjung hospital, New Delhi through all india quota was 611 marks. Generally cutoff increases every year so to secure a seat you have to score around 625 marks.

Considering the hospital and training facilities available, the UG:PG Ratio, campus, location as well as faculty and infrastructure, which perhaps is good at both places, your preference list among Top Delhi Medical Colleges must be as follows

1. AIIMS

2. MAMC

3. UCMS

4. VMMC/LHMS

Hello,

There has been a criteria or the categories are made in which you get admissions if you belong to that particular category and for that you should have a required documentations. Now in your case as you have mentioned that you belong to Rajasthan state and also you have domicile of that state hence, you are definitely eligible for the state reserved quota as it’s your Home State and in second case as you also belong to OBC category you can surely avail it just you should have your OBC certificate, if you have it than you can get admission in the OBC category as well.

Hello,

AIIMS Delhi one of the finest medical college in India. So if you want to get admission there for MBBS then you have to qualify the NEET examination with very good marks. Last year cutoff was very high so you have to qualify with good marks then no problem occurs for admission in AIIMS Delhi. You can go for state quota counselling surely you will get admission, if you get 650 to 700 marks.
