 VJTI is an autonomous institute aided by government .To take admission in VJTI you have to appear for MHCET or JEE, For MHCET you can join you are from Maharashtra, on the other hand, you can join through JEE.through all over India rank.It does not have any private exam

You have less chances in mechanical engineering in PEC Chandigarh.

You should choose IIIT for your admission. It has good placements record.

In order to take admission in VJTI Mumbai you should have domicile certificate of Maharashtra. 

Other state students are eligible to take admission in private colleges only.
