Established in 1887, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai is a government college. The VJTI Mumbai was formerly known as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute. To be admitted to VJTI Mumbai in BE/B.Tech programmes, candidates must take the JEE Main or MHT CET entrance exam. GATE/GPAT is required for ME/M.Tech admissions in VJTI Mumbai. MAH MCA CET entrance is required for MCA admissions at VJTI Mumbai.

This institute under a Mumbai University campus is made up of brick only there is no paint or anything and the most important thing is there is lack of network in the campus because it is situated in one corners of Jaipur that is not yet properly developed and its not the Wi-Fi campus each and every Wi-Fi is locked for the staff people.
