However, with 977 rank, you might be able to get:

• M.Tech (CS) at SRI VIDYA NIKETAN ENGINEERING COLLEGE, Chittoor if you belong to BCB
• M.Tech(ECE) at VIGNANS INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY if you have OC category

There are many other branches you might get in different colleges in AP based on your caste category rank.

i suggest you use an AP PGCET college predictor (search on google) and it will give you more details.

As per your requirement, i would say that as mentioned above your rank is 8859 in apicet exam, you may get a seat in apicet exam.

As your rank is much lower as compared to seats, so you have less chances.

Getting a seat in college is depending on many factors like studenrs to seat ratio, cut off, reservation, ranking of college, etc

Cut off varies evert year as per your reservation category and no. Of students applying for the same.

Or else, you can get admission with low cut off through management quota also.
