Hello aspirant , any student who has qualified GATE is eligible for the stipend . If a student has qualified GATE and is talikng admission through GATE scire he or she is eligible for a stipend. Something around Rs 12000 is given to them. So, yes you are eligible for the stipend.

Hi Uday,

Andhra University has good fame in terms of its courses which is why it's students get placed well. It is a very old institution which is the cause of its reputation. MRM students mostly get placed in good multi-national companies like Reliance, D-Mart etc.

The faculty and studies are not up to the mark though. Infrastructure is good.

According to the rank you have mentioned, if it is overall rank you have possibility to obtain a seat in Andra university.If the mentioned rank is your category rank, then your possibility is quite low in obtaining a seat in the university. Considering the level of competitions to obtain the seats among the students, hence is the difficulty.

2613 rank in BC category may not bring you the streams of your choice, but there is a possibility that you get a chance into jntuk for other courses. Just wish that most of the rankers get good Central Universities and they join there so that you could fulfill your dream.

One must always have a plan B so should you, You can apply for the same streams at AU, JntuV, some other government colleges. I'm sure you will find the engineering stream of your choice there for sure. Make sure you fill the counselling preferences well because that'll decide your future.

Both the colleges have good reputation and the facilities offered are almost same. Both of the colleges have good infrastructure, complete ac rooms, wifi facilities etc. 

The faculty is good at both the colleges. But at JNTU industry experts from companies like Indian oil, HPCL come to teach students. 

From the placement point of view. At JNTU placements in core companies are almost negligible. Some mass recruiting software companies hire the students. But in AU marine engineering placements scenerio is good. Companies like indian navy, hindustan shipment limited hire the students.
