For general catagory while screening the candidates for admission the choose the students who exceed the cut offs and the cut off for general catagory is 275. So, try applying for other colleges as well.

Based on your rank and profile in APICET, it is highly unlikely for you to get a seat in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - [JNTU], Kakinada and Sri Venkateswara University - [SVU], Tirupati, since as per past year records the closing rank for these colleges is around 500-600.
