The basic eligibility criteria for admission in Anna University is :

A candidate should pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subject with an average of not less than 60% in PCM. Minimum of 50% marks is required in English in 10th and 12th.
Now the most important, one must hage studied class VIII, IX, X , XII and XII standards from Tamil Nadu state in order to be eligible.

The necessary criteria is for getting admission in Anna University is that you have to score 80 out of 200 in NATA and the rest 200 is based on the average of PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths). So your final cut off would be out of 400 for getting admission in Anna University.

Yes, other state students are eligible to apply for TNEA and can also take admission but the seats are very limited for other state candidates.Anna Universitywill be starting the registration process for admissions through TNEA forother statecandidates. The final date for registration is July 2021.
