Hello!
Admission into Anna University affiliated colleges may be difficult with your cut-off. If you have written entrance exams for deemed universities like SRM and VIT, there's a higher chance for admission into them.
However, you can wait till the online counseling for TNEA starts and the rank list is generated and then see what your college options are.
All the best!

Hello,
B. Tech in Petroleum Engineering and Technology in Anna University is average, as there are quite few teachers and the industrial exposure is not up to the mark. Other than that, the placements are good with the highest salary package being 8 Lakhs per annum and the lowest being 2 Lakhs per annum. Companies like Reliance Industries and TCS visit the campus for recruitment. Around 60-70% of students get placed in good companies every year. The course curriculum is also good and updated. You can choose to study here, but there are many other colleges providing better education in the field that you want to study.
Good Luck!!!
Hope this helps!!!
