To get admission into UG engineering program, a student needs to give TNEA exam for Anna university. There is no other exam for admission into engineering.

You can apply even of you're outside Tamil-nadu candidate if you're from other state and you've min 50% (40% for sc/st) in hsc in maths, physics & chemistry.

Since your score is very low even in St category. Because the cut off are 22.5 and you have scored less than the cutt off so in my opinion you can not get admission in anna university. I am sorry but dont give up work harder for the next attempt.

It would have been great if you have mentioned your percentile acquired during the course of your Bachelor's degree or TANCET exam to get into Anna University. Well, i am assuming the percentile you have mentioned here is from the TANCET  test you have attempted.

The eligibility criteria to get into Anna University with the expected MBA cut off score is listed below for various categories,

So your percentile fits well in the eligibility criteria list. But if this is your academic percentile then it is a factor to worry as Anna University's MBA eligibility criteria seeks for 50% or above percentile in Bachelor's Degree and you might want to check any other college that will fit this criteria.

see cutoff score changes every year , and it depends on number of participants, seat matrix, questions difficulty level etc. however if your actual score is more than 70, you have decent chances for anna university guindy campus, do tell me about your actual score, then I may help you with college names.
