my rank in tanca 2019 is 153 in gate category im electrical dept.. can i get mtech seat in anna university

Hello,
According to previous year cutoffs for mtech EEE in Anna University, you can get a seat in Mtech EEE. Last year the the cutoff marks were 30-35. And according to your rank, your marks would be around 40-45, so you can easily get a seat here.

What is the meaning of aided courses and self supporting courses in Anna university?

A course that gets aid from the government is termed as aided course whereas a course that does not get any funds or aid from the government is called as unaided course. While aided course get support from the government, unaided course do not get any support from the government side.

In 2018 its nearly 20 - 23 marks for EEE and 30 marks for mechanical. If your gate marks is 8–12 marks more the general cuttoff then surely u will get a seat in Anna University.

Why does anna university conduct TANCET if all the seats were to be alloted to GATE candidates? Any clarification?

Hello aspirant. Well they do give preference to GATE candidate , still they give chance to their state students as well. Moreover it is also like a backup program for them . Just in case student who have qualified GATE get better college , then they could get students from TANCET.
