College of engineering Guindy college accepts TNEA for Btech admission. TANCET for Mtech admission.  MSc is done with the TANCET score. No separate entrance is conducted. For MCA TANCET is considered.

GATE is a national level exam so it mostly accepted by every college. so some of the seats are filled through gate counselling also.

after gate through allottment list has published, then tancet through admission list will be published. and the seat allocation is totally depends on the college authority. there is nothing to do now. better search some other colleges where admission is done by tancet score.

Hi Aspirant,

See you have a decent communal rank but at your rank i don't think you'll be able to get admission in the top colleges of Anna University like the main campus, CEG, MIT or ACT Tech campus etc. You have not mentioned about your stream so i am assuming you to be an Engineering Aspirant. You should be able to to get private colleges.

There is no hurdles for Lateral Entry. its simple you just go to an Anna University Affiliated College and submit your Previous Academic Certificates. for example if you are a BCA Degree Holder Submit your Mark List and Provisional there and take admission for Lateral Entry MCA 2nd Year and there after the College Officials Guide you to what to do. But its not a tedious job
