Eligibility criteria

Contenders must be an Indian citizen but not a resident of Tamil Nadu. Candidates will have got to produce a certificate of Permanent residence in the set format in English only when completing the application form.

Contenders must have excelled HSC or its corresponding with a least of 50% for General Category and 40% for SC/ST contenders in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry arranged.

Contenders who have accepted grades are mandatory to emit the good marks beside the minimum marks valid to the degrees in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry will be considered.

Mark sheets (All appearance) of HSC or Equivalent Examination

Mark Sheet of X Standard

Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate

Community Certificate (for SC/ST candidates)

TNEA counselling for other state

The seat portion will be by the merit of the students as denoted by the rank list on top of the campus and branch selected by the students.

Contenders have got to give an initial deposit of Rs 5000/- online and produce all the original certificates during counseling.

They would get different brochures confirmed according to the given date schedule.

In the event contenders are inept to appear because of unpredicted and unescapable reasons, they can validate their parents on the behalf, and the parent’s choice will be compulsory.

Hello Dasari Rahul,

Inorder, to get a seat in B.Tech Anna university you have to appear for TNPCEE/CET or TNEA. For B.Arch admission you have to clear NATA.

You can also apply based on your Inter merit marks but during the admission process first preferrence is given to tamil nadu local students you have passed their 6th to 10th in tamil nadu.

Iam from ap.i got 597 out of 600 in groups.can I get cse or ece in Anna University?

Hi Candidate! It is difficult for you to get a seat in Anna University with CSE or ECE branch. In group you have to score 600/600 but don't get dishearten you may get any other colleges. If you want to take admission in this college only then try for next year and work hard.

When will be the results of Anna University btech admissions 2019 for other state students be declared?

I have a normalized mark of 35.738 in TANCET and I belong to BCM category...will I get anna university CEG campus?

Dear Abitha, Don't worry your marks is not very low and at these marks, you have chances to get some good Instituted but Anna University have cut off is above these mark. so you have difficulty to get this Instituted so my suggestion is you may try some another good Instituted as your backup plan maybe it helps you. if you think you may chance then you may try your luck.

How to see engineering counseling seat allotments

Hello aspirant,

You need to first open the official website. Then log in to the portal through your registration number and password. Then after logging in you will be able to see the allotments. The allotments of all colleges alloted through that exam will be shown. And what you have got will also be visible.

Sorry to inform you that, now you can not take admission in Anna University, as to take admission Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) is conducted each year by Anna University, to get admission in undergraduate courses. The admission is done on the basis of merit.

This year date of filling the application form was: May 2, 2019

And the last date was: May 31, 2019

And the last date of counseling will be: July 30, 2019
