Considering the fact that it is located in Trichy, placement will not be as good as it is in Chennai. But still, people get from core engineering departments. The techology departments like Biotechnology, Petro and Pharma are not that upto the mark with placements. The case is the same with even institutes in Chennai for these departments.

AUT may not be the best for oncampus placements, but I see that the departments are working hard to bring in placements recently. I hope the stones will be turned in the future.

Never the less, I was a Biotech Undergrad from AUT and I never regret choosing AUT. The lecturers are way better than those of private colleges. They will spend time for you if you are really interested.

you are too late. the last date of submission of tnea counselling form was 31 may, 2019.

and counselling result for round 1 and round 2 has already announced. however after counselling if there are vacant seats you can directly contact with the particular college. for further information follow the below link,

Hello Aspirant,  All the Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu will be opened in the last week of July or first week of August. If you already get the admission and your number is registered in that college then you will get the message from the college. Otherwise you can visit the website of college under notice board you will find the opening date of college.

ECE is a really good choice if you are interested in it many MNCs like Amazon flipkart Microsoft TATA Havells Voltas etc offer jobs to students.
