Dear aspirant,
Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) is better than the new NIT's. You can get admission into that college but it depends on results of these years' students. Let's hope for the best and hope you have a bright and promising career in near future.
Thank You
Hi, Raghunath! Firstly, lets predict your rank. your predicted rank is around
(100-93.7941415)*900000/100
= 55852
considering as a general candidate,it will be very difficult to get HBTI because as per the admission records last year, the last rank went upto 45000 in Food Engineering. But still, i would suggest you not to lose hope and participate in the admission process as there might be a chance for you to get into HBTI with lower branches, but not higher branches like CSE.
Hello
It would be difficult to tell you the percentile required or your chances for admission as the previous year cutoff are not available officially.
You should aim to score a good percentile in the JEE Main exam to get seat in any good Engineering college and in your preferred engineering branch.
Good Luck!
Hey aspirant, at this percentile your expected general Rank is about 60 thousand which I have calculated by using the formula officially released by NTA that is:
{100-(your percentile)}*8744.69
You may have a chance to get into Harcourt Butler Technical, Kanpur but it is very difficult if we consider the previous year cut off for the least popular branch in the University which was about 45 thousand ranks.
