College Infra
If there is one thing HPTU wins points for right off the bat, it is the location. Tucked into the scenic, peaceful hills of Hamirpur, the backdrop is stunning and provides a fantastic environment for studying away from city chaos.
Placements
While HPTU provides excellent return on investment (ROI) due to its incredibly low, government-subsidized tuition fees, its corporate pipeline is modest compared to premier institutes like the neighboring NIT Hamirpur.

The faculty is one of HPTU’s biggest strengths. A significant number of professors hold degrees from premier institutions like IITs and NITs. They are approachable and willing to mentor you, provided you show initiative.
College Infra
The academic blocks are relatively new, modular, and generally well-maintained. Classrooms feature smart boards, and the labs are functional with basic Wi-Fi connectivity, though the internet can be spotty depending on weather.
Placements
The average package consistently hovers around 3 to 4 LPA. While exceptional students occasionally land off-campus packages in the 10–15 LPA range, the on-campus baseline is stable but low. And it's upto you if you can crack the interview.

My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for students. The classrooms are spacious and well-equipped with smart boards and proper seating. The laboratories have updated instruments and are regularly maintained. The library is well-stocked with books and provides a peaceful environment for study.
