Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Students pursuing degrees in mechanical engineering like BE, ME, or Ph.D. are qualified to be in this course. Apart from this educational qualification also basic knowledge in Heat and Mass Transfer, and Applied Thermodynamics is helpful for admission.
Certification Qualifying Details
- RAC Product Design certification by NPTEL and IIT Madras is offered when people have attained a total mark of 40 in the final exam, and its assignments out of the total 100 marks. But the students must make it a point to individually attain 10/25 in the average of 4 assignments. Also, in the proctored examination, securing 30/75 is a requisite. Filing in these criteria will take away the chances of securing certificates.

Evaluation process
There is a final certification exam that is conducted after all the modules, and their related assignments are over. The final exam is for 75 marks which are held offline in a Swayam centre for examination. The exam happens after the course is done in either a morning session or an afternoon one where getting 30 marks is the minimum for qualifying ahead for a certification.
