Course Overview

The Corporate Finance online course’s goal is to prepare students to comprehend, interpret, and apply corporate finance principles and applications in the context of management decision-making. Students in the program should be able to grasp capital structure, capital budgeting, dividend policy, and working capital management choices at the end of the course by acquiring tools and strategies to handle sophisticated numerical issues in real-world business scenarios efficiently.

The Corporate Finance training will be divided into four modules: finance decisions, investment decisions, payout decisions, and working capital management decisions. Investment decisions are made to aid in the understanding of the value of financial assets, as well as the importance of the risk-return relationship in capital structure decisions. Financing decisions aid in selecting the best source of money while keeping the shareholders’ interests in mind.

Considerations on working capital management are centred on the best management of inventories, receivables, debtors, and payables. Finally, payout decisions are connected to whether or not to pay dividends or maintain earnings in the firm.
