Obviously IIT rourkee is better than nit trichy  for communication engineering.

You can also sure it through their previous placement records from their official websites. 

Now IIT rourkee is one of the best IITs based on it's rankings .

Congratulations !! you achieved good score in GATE 2019 in EE stream so you have sure chance to get into IIT Roorkee for M.tech power system. Last year cutoff for power system was nearly 54.68 so no worry you will definitely get admission.

With this score and rank IIT kgp and IIT Guwahati is quite difficult but you try for IIT R .You can get IITr with this rank.You can get IIT kgp or guwahati at 3 rd round. You can also check your possible college at careers360 college predictor section. Best of luck.

Yes according to the past record there is a chance of you getting IIT by this Score Card.

I will suggest you to apply in both IITs i.e. IIT ROORKEE and IIT KHARAGPUR  for M.arch as there are only few IITs which are offering Masters in architecture.

There is no problem if you haven't uploaded your 12th marksheet. Just wait for the cutoff to come out and then continue with the admission process .Take your 12th marksheet later for verification.

The cut off marks will depend on the exam difficulty level and the number of the candidates appeared in the examination. Every year, IIT Roorkee releases cut off marks to fill M.Tech seats accordingly. The cut off will also vary according to the subject.

Hi Keshwanand, yes it is possible for a mechanical engineering student to pursue m.tech in disaster mitigation and management. Courses from (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, and Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent, B.Arch. & B. Planning, or M.Tech. in Geological Technology and Geophysical Technology or equivalent, or M.B.A. or M.C.A. or M.Sc. in Physics/ Geophysics/Geology / Mathematics) can all have eligibility to take this for M.Tech course.

The hostel is the best with good infrastructure. Infrastructure is highly furnished, and classroom libraries are neat and clean. A vibrant and dynamic environment for studying and a sports complex with highly equipped items are there.The hostel is cleaned properly and proper maintenance of the ground, etc., is done. Other colleges have better infrastructure than Roorkee.
