    Course Overview

Basics of software-defined Radios and Practical Applications is a 4 weeks programme that is a joint initiative of NPTEL and IIT Roorkee. This course offers an electronic copy of the certificate for its participants. The course teaches that SDR is a very important part of modern communication where processes used for hardware implementation are defined using the domain of software regarding flexibility.

Basics of software-defined Radios and Practical Applications training are used for providing the description of the several components of software-defined radios along with their significance, and relevance. The participants shall also understand the interrelationship between digital, and analog power processing and spectrum transmission of signals. At the final stage of this course, candidates will understand what kind of term solutions are used for industrial datasheets, and the motivation for appropriate transceiver design.
