TMI is better off in all the categories over IMU ( IMU refers to IMU Chennai campus). Placements is better at tolani at Meri on-campus placement is about 60–70% max..also you have most of the times just two attempts to sit for placements so things gets a bit

In case of candidates joining B. Tech. (MarineEngineering) degree course, glasses may be allowed buteye sightin each eye beyond plus/minus 2.5 will be rejected. Unaidedvisionshould be 6/12 in both eyes minimum or 6/9 in the good eye and 6/12 in the other eye minimum.

Mainly the international shipping companies recruit candidates for posts like Engine Cadet /Junior Engineer/Fifth Engineer /TME and so on. The pay scale is different of all the companies based on various guidelines
