Hello Dear,

First of all congratulations for your performance. As the percentile mentioned by you the General AIR rank must be between 46076 - 36253. As you have not mentioned your category in which you belongs. There is a very less chance that you can get any IIIT hyderabad on your rank  because it was around 99 percentile. For more information you can check the list below:

but as you know cut off depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination. And, hence varies every year depending on these factors. You can check the rank vs percentile vs marks below:

Hello kannamathareddy,

It depends totally on you,

Dual Degree is better for students who want to pursue PHD, there's a better chance of getting selected in PHD for dual degree students in abroad also, and you have to spend 1 less year, but the problem is MS is pretty much useless in industrial perspective.

While BTech 4-year course is completely preferable for students who want job in industries, and you get almost same level of salary as dual program with minor variations.

I hope it helps,

Best of luck.

Hello,

First of all you will have appear forJEE (Main) 2020 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
Admissions will be based on the Total Percentile obtained inJEE (Main) .
Then,
  • Visit IIIT Hyderabad JEE website and click on Apply Now or directly gohere .
  • Click on Register and fill the required details.
  • Login and fill the prescribed application form.
  • Pay the application fee online.
  • Download a copy of the application for future reference.

Then the counseling procedure through Josaa begins.
Firstly you will need to give course choices in preferential order in those programmes in the branch preference list in which you are interested.

The admission process has multiple rounds if counseling and in each round, the institute will allot a seat to the applicant, and the applicant will have a deadline by which they can accept or decline the allotted seat.

An applicant who is allotted a seat should use the IIIT-H portal to explicitly accept the seat and pay the required fees. Applicants who fail to do so will have their seat allotment cancelled and will not be considered for the further rounds of admission.

I hope this helps.

For OBC category the cutoff was close to around 99.92 percentile last year for the computer science engineering and it was 99.16 for Electronics and telecommunications engineering. So basically you need 98.50 and above percentile minimum to have your chances in IIIT HYDERABAD UNIVERSITY through the JEE MAINS examination.

Also note that there is no free seat offered by IIIT HYDERABAD. So, you have to give the full fees of iiit hyderabad, as there is no fees reduction too.

Very good

College Infrastructure

IIIT Hyderabad has a modern, urban campus with compact yet efficient infrastructure. Classrooms are equipped with smart teaching tools and comfortable seating. Labs are cutting-edge, especially in AI, robotics, and data science. The library is well-stocked with physical and digital resources. Hostels, sports grounds, and common areas are well-maintained.

My experience at IIIT Hyderabad.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is pretty good. They have good classrooms and really good facilities at the lab. The college has a great research culture, with a huge chunk of money being invested in research labs. The Wi-Fi facilities are not that good, and the network is not that good. Also, all classrooms are not air-conditioned. The hostels are also pretty good. But there's one issue with hostels, which is drinking water. It has happened many times that drinkable water is not available on many floors. Also, the lift does not work properly and gets stuck many times.

Having so nice experience here.
