To get admission in IIIT Hyderabad there are many ways to get admission in while one is IIT jee for btech in this college.  I hope you are aware it's a private college. Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination - UGEE– CSD/ ECD/ CND/ CLD/ NK/ NTSE or KVPY, Olympiad, Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC).  IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech admission process is based on the counselling through the above-mentioned channels. Candidates who qualifies the entrance examination had to appear for interview on the basis of which they will be offered seats in the institute. you have to score a minimum of 60 percent marks in class 12 in physics, chemistry and math to be eligible to get admission in btech for pgee iit hyderabad.

Hi,

Jee mains saw a change in exam pattern from 2019.with a total of 20 Qs each from phy, chem and maths and 5 numerical questions the total weightage of paper was 300.

According to the stats of this year.

ECE in iiit hyderabad had closing ranks of around 941 & 1676 in round 1 & 2 respectively.

In 2018 the closing mark was around 210.

This might give you an idea regarding the chnaging trend in cutoffs every year.

Try to score as high as possible  to be on the safe side.

Round 1 in CS for IIT HYDERABAD in JEE MAINS is 280 and the rank is around 400.

Till the last round cutoff goes up-to 257 equivalent to an AIR rank of 1000.

Electronics and Communication last round cutoff goes up-to 210 marks ie up-to around 5000 rank.

The overall IIT HYDERBABAD ALL BRANCH cutoff goes up-to approx 195 marks and 7000-8000 rank.

• There is no reservation in IIIT Hyderabad.

IIIT Hyderabad is undoubtedly one of the best institute in India if you'll see it's labs and equipment you'll find that they are world class and the most important thing is that the college changes its whole academics as per the market demand and so sooner it will be in India's no 1 college in cse. DTU is also very good but when compared with iiit then DTU can't win even in placements.

For BTech admission in iiit Hyderabad you'll have to clear jee mains with very high marks. Generally students with 250+ get a seat in iiit Hyderabad in cse. The college has emerged as the finest colleges in the country even Apple is visiting the college so the Cutoffs are really high.

IISc Bangalore, on any day. IISc is the best institute for research in India and both the topics you have mentioned are fall under the cap of research. IISC is even better than IIT-Bombay let alone IIIT-Hyderabad. IISC is a research centric institution and you'll see research going there up close. AI and ML are the hot topics in research in the field of computer science today and if you are given a choice between IISc bangalore and IIIT Hyderabad, go for the IISc.

Admission in IISc is through the exam GATE.
