Academics
We have an incredible faculty base. One professor got his book published from Oxford Publishing House, another professor taught earlier at London School of Economcs. Others professors have also written well-aclaimed research papers in various renowned journals. The syllabus is also of quite high standard.
College Infra
We have smart boards, departmental libraries, central library, auditoriums, free wifi, modern research laboratories and computer hubs having advanced software and infrastructures. Canteen, hostel facilities, cheap stationary stores are also available in the campus.
Campus Life
Various academic and non-academic fests are organised in the university.. Many clubs are also there where extra-curricular activities are practiced.
Placements
Placement is around 100%. Many prominent companies come to participate in placement activities. IBM, PWC, Genpact are some of the famous companies that have recruited our students in the past years...
Value For Money
The course cost is rs 1150 per year.. Quality education is provided at very low cost.

I'm studying Comparative Literature right now, and i just wanted to learn more languages to be honest. It's okay, It's alright.
We don't really get any job related to it unless we're opting for research...
College Infra
Considering its reputation and ranking the infrastructure is poor. Few toilets are unusable. We don't really have any kind of sanitary machines, not even a medical shop in university campus (fyi we have a whole sbi bank in the campus).

Okayish.
Placements
It has been poor for my dept. We don't really get to execute what we study.
Yes most of us get placed in corporate.
Yes we can find any kind of poor job, yes. It is easy, keeping in mind the reputation of Jadavpur University.
Value For Money
They literally charge us near 1k for one year for such high quality education, it's crazy.

Can I get jadavpur university getting hs number 375
Hello, in Jadavpur University some departments conduct their own entrance examinations, which might not be dependent on your HS results. However, JU's cutoffs for Arts and Science subjects mainly range from 480 to 495, and Engineering admission depends on the WBJEE rank, and not on HS results. Hope this helps!
