Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering is a full-time four-year undergraduate course degree offered by Jadavpur University, Kolkata and approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination of a University/Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English are eligible for provisional admission to the First Year Class of the aforesaid Undergraduate Engg/Tech/Arch/ Pharm courses.

Admission Details

Provisional admission will be made on the basis of the Provisional Admission Letter for a seat of Jadavpur University issued by the WB-JEE for Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to Engineering, Medical/Technological Degree Colleges at any of the Reporting Centers provided the candidate satisfies the prescribed following medical fitness (except for candidates applying under Physically Challenged quota).

College Infrastructure

Jadavpur University boasts modern infrastructure with hostels, library, CAD lab, health centre, and counselling. Major upgrades include new science and arts buildings, renovated auditoriums, guest houses, sports centre, and improved facilities for differently-abled students, ensuring a vibrant academic environment.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at Jadavpur University is decent overall, with the essential facilities in place for students. Classrooms, laboratories, and libraries are fairly maintained. The canteens offer hygienic and affordable food, making it convenient for students to manage daily meals. However, the condition of bathrooms is rather poor. The Engineering Drawing rooms don't look like they ever get cleaned. Repairs of electrical appliances like fans and lights often take a long time. Concern affecting infrastructure development is the lack of sufficient funding, which has slowed down repairs and modernization efforts. With better financial support, the campus facilities could be significantly improved.

College Infrastructure

Collage campus is very attractive, cleaned. Big play ground surrounded by trees and greeneries. Class rooms are healthy airy and properly arranged. Library facility is very good. Laboratories are well equipped and updated. Huge scope of involvement in extra curricular activities, sports and games. Hostels, food and others well maintained.
