Dear student,

I hope you are doing well.

AP PGECET Cut Off is different for different courses. The cut off varies from institute to institute. The cut off for AP PGECET 2019 is used for awarding rank to the candidates. The AP PGECET cut off rank is according to the categories & branches. Only those candidates get rank, who score more than 30 marks out of 120. Hence, the cut off percentage is 25%.

You can check the AP PGECET 2019 cutoff on the official website.

Hello aspirant,

According to previous year's closing ranks in OC category girls, your rank is a little too high to fetch you seat in your desired colleges such as JNTU Anantapur, SVU or AU Vishakhapatnam.
The closing ranks for all these colleges have been as low as 2 and the highest has been 358.

But cutoffs vary every year and hence you must keep trying, you could land a seat you never know.
Now coming to your query about M.Tech specialization in CSE, I would recommend you go for Artificial Intelligence. This field is in boom nowadays with most of the things getting digitalized. Engineers from this specialization are in demand as new startups are getting launched. The starting package can be expected to be around 5 to 6 LPA. Artificial Intelligence specialization is offered by JNTU Anantapur.
You can also go for Network Systems. This field is offered by AU Vishakhapatnam and starting package is decent and can be expected to be around 4 to 5 LPA.

I hope this clarifies your doubt.
All the best!

Hello Aspirant

Hello ATAGARA RENUKA!

You didn't mention your category, so I consider you are from the open category by deafult.

As per the last year's data, the closing ranks for the open category in Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati for CSE branch was 1906 and for ECE branch was 2425 . So, there are negligible chances for you to get CSE or ECE in SVU. But you can get B.Tech Chemical Engineering in SVU as the closing rank last year was 13,286 for the open category.

The closing ranks for the open category in JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantapur for CSE was 4068 and ECE was 4480 . So, again there are less chances for you to get these branches in JNTUA Anatapur. But you can get B.Tech Chemical Engineering in this college again as the closing rank last year was 11,783.

You can get both CSE and ECE branch in these government colleges:-

The closing ranks for the open category are mentioned in the brackets above.

Hello student,

Congratulations for securing a good rank in pgecet.
But this rank is still not enough to get you a seat in JNTU Kakinada or Anantapur. Mechanical branch seats are majorly filled through gate and many a times seats don't remain for pgecet.
But cutoffs vary every year depending on the seats filled through gate and number student applying for the same branch.

To know more about pgecet counciling and what will be the expected cutoff for 2020 you can refer the following link.

You can expect a seat in electrical branch in JNTU Anantapur. But the cutoffs vary every year. Cutoff depends on the number of candidates participating and the seat remaining for pgecet.
