If you join Information Technology branch in JNTU Karimnagar and get a good Grade Point Average (GPA), then they will not be tranferring you but you need to apply for branch change after successful completion of 1st year 2nd semester. If you will qualify in all the criterias and if there is a seat vacant then you will be transferred to any branch that you want.

Hello aspirant!  Let me to inform you that nothing is certain for now. This is because the priority is given to the gate qualified students and if they choose more seat in the college you want to go then even the top scorers in the ts pgecet exam are infringed of getting that college. 92 is a good rank but chances are low to get that college.

The placements in JNTU Karimnagar are so good and they are booming

You can definitely get at least a job in service-based companies like TCS and CSC etc

For mechanical, the companies like Cyient, Satyam venture and Rane are visiting regularly

some product based IT companies also hire students.Some people even get 10 lakhs per anum jobs by attending placements in JNTU HYDERABAD( two of my batch mates of computer science got it by placing in gaming companies)
More over the atmosphere is very good, pleasant and free from pollution. But you may not find great faculty(no of faculty is very less and there is no regular faculty for English and humanities Department). This might change as Telangana Govt is planning to release posts for faculty in the newly formed JNTU's
If you are financially not strong then this college is the best option otherwise opting any of the top 5 private engineering colleges in HYDERABAD is the better option. 

Yes, I think you may get admission in JNTU with a rank of 11749 without no reservation but it is a bit difficult or may I say your chances are less and get IT to increase your chances not get JNTU because after CS the demand of IT and EC is more as compare to another stream. So my suggestion is to seek other colleges also as your backup.

Hello Anitha, You have got good rank in AP ICET congratulations for that, but with this rank you can't get seat in JNTU Anantapur. for getting seat in here you need to get rank less than 500, but you have got good rank for this rank you will get good college for sure. So make another option for college admission.

The closing rank for open category (general) in TS PGECET was nearly 2508 in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU) and 2500 in Osmania University (OU). But still, we cannot surely predict the closing rank for JNTU and OU for current year. You can get an idea based on the previous year rank list. Also the admission varies based on the number of applicants and many other factors. So better give a try and apply for admission if you want to get into JNTU and OU.

As u got a good rank you have enough chances in getting admission in either Jntu or Ou depending on the number of applicants there.
