You have not mentioned your category to which you belong to.It is slightly difficult to answer your query but with such rank it is difficult to get a seat in JNTU Ananthpur.There is slightest chance to get a seat in Computer science engineering if you belong to ST as the cutoff was 46113 and if by chance you belong to BC-E then you may get chemical engineering as the cut off rank was 43925.

You have not mentioned your category to which you belong to.Based on 2018 cut off trends you may get seat in Chemical engineering if you belong to any of SC or ST or BC-E category.As the cut off for SC- was 67883 ST was 71425 BC-E was 43925.And the cut off ranks for other categories are below the rank you have secured.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.So hope for the best.

First of all congratulations on getting a seat in ECE in MECS. MECS ECE is itself a very good branch to study in so do not get disheartened if you do not get your desired branch in JNTUH because it has very high cut off and is very difficult to get admission in. However hope for the best in the second round of counselling.

Your rank is good and so you do hold a chance to get admission into jntuh. Its no doubt a very prestigious and good college so you need to just go for the commencement of the priceeproce for the same College so just wait and you will definitely get one for sure. Good luck!
