Taking into account your GATE score and that your category is bc - d, you should be able to get Civil Engineering in JNTU Hyderabad and Osmania Univrsity both.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level post-graduate entrance exam that is jointly conducted by the seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore for admission to M.Tech programmes offered by government as well as many private institutes.

GATE 2019 was organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in online mode on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019.

COAP is conducted by IITs (IIT Madras in 2019) to facilitate admissions of aspirants in M.Tech programs of IITs. The candidates after applying to the IITs of their choice on the basis of the GATE scores, have to necessrily apply for COAP.

CCMT is conducted for admissions to M.Tech programs of NITs by different NITs (NIT Rourkela in 2019).

Hello aspirant, sorry to inform you that you cannot get the seat in the jntuk as the rank of yours is too big in number so you cannot get seat in it in any of the coarse...if you are too much interested only in the jntuk then you must go for the long term and get less rank which can help you in getting it.

you can also also check with gitam which have more chances than jntu hyderabad.also u can go with bvrit and iit hyderabad which have similar facilities.

Congrats for qualifying GATE. The eligibility for M.Tech in JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad is in B.Tech/BE you must have 50%marks (45% for reserved candidates). Other than this they accept GATE score. So you can apply for admission there. But if you want to do full time Mtech there you can opt for Structural Engineering(25 seats), Geotechnical Engineering(25 seats), Infrastructure Engineering(25 seats).

Well i would say that you need to give first preference only to Government Universities, But you are choosing JNTUH / OU as your 4 years educational institution, These days both OU and JNTUH standards are decreasing in terms of all aspects. There are no more better standards in these universities these days. So, If you take CBIT , it is no.1 private Engineering college in telangana. It is ranked at 100 by NIRF MHRF Government of India. The educational quality is also good at CBIT. It is rated as AAAA by Careers360. The tution fee at CBIT is 2,00,000/- per annum. The tution fee at JNTUH is 12,500/- and OU is around 15,000/- per year approximately. The hostel fee at CBIT is 55,000/- per year. The hostel fee at JNTUH and OU is around 3,000/- per month. Even JNTUH and OU are also rated as AAAA but they are not that standard when compared to CBIT. The highest pay package at CBIT is around 15-20 lakhs per annum and at JNTUH and OU is around 12 lakhs .
