Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, is an engineering college located in Vizianagarm, Andhra Pradesh. At the undergraduate level, the college offers B.Tech in seven disciplines. At the PG level, the college offers M.Tech in 5 disciplines. In addition to B.Tech & M.Tech, the college also offers a full-time MCA course.

Basic Eligibility requirements,

Mechanical Branch and it's placements

The branch of the college has very well equipped instruments for therotical and practical knowledge of the subject. The infrastructure, lab, hostel rooms and washrooms are well-maintained. Faculty members of the mechanical department are very good and cooperating.

Taking about the placements JNTU Vizianagaram in mechanical engineering course, students from the college got placed in software companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. The average salary package offered to all the students is 2.7 LPA.

So I would recommend that for study purpose and great campus life you can take admission in the college but you have to work very hard for placements.

Left a good job in PGCET exam. Your rank is 159 it is very good for getting Osmania University or JNTU for M Pharmacy course of study . Your hard labour rewarded you with this result in PG cet. Rank below 5000 in PGCET is a good rank. But you have done an excellent job. Being an open category means general category student you have scored  good rank 159 that your marks should be PGCET 80%  to  89% that means out of total 500 it is 425 to450.

JNTU Anantapur is much better than JNTU Vizianagaram. JNTU Anantapur is a university where as JNTU Vizianagaram is a college under JNTU Kakinada.

As you ask for Mechanical branch so according to me there is no difference in both college placement in mechanical branch.

But in other view like Campus, Faculty, Classes etc you go for JNTU anantapur
