The facilities at our college are better when compared to other colleges. The infrastructure is so good, there is more space for labs and there will be internet connectivity anywhere in the college. Dear Aspirant,
With a rank of 63,000 in AP EAPCET 2025, your chances of getting a seat at JNTU Kakinada depend on the branch you want. In recent years, the overall closing rank for B.Tech admissions at JNTUK has reached around 89,000. This means your rank is within the eligible range for admission. However, competitive branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) usually close at much lower ranks, often below 8,000 for the general category. Therefore, it is unlikely that you will secure a seat in these top branches at the main campus with your current rank. That said, you may still have a chance for seats in less competitive branches such as Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, especially in later rounds of counselling. More seats often become available due to withdrawals or reallocations. It is a good idea to participate actively in all rounds of counselling and to fill in a wide range of branch options to improve your chances. You might also consider JNTUK-affiliated colleges where the cutoff ranks for similar branches are higher.
Best of Luck
With a rank of 347 in AP PGECET, you have a very good chance of getting a free (tuition fee–reimbursed) seat in JNTU Kakinada or other government colleges. Generally, ranks below 1000 are considered strong for admission into top branches in government engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Your rank is well within the usual cut-off range for most M.Tech programs in JNTUK, especially if you belong to a reserved category or choose a less competitive branch.
To get a free seat, you must also satisfy the eligibility criteria for fee reimbursement under the Andhra Pradesh state government scheme. This usually includes factors like family income below a certain limit and not being employed in a government or private job.
