Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, also called Kalasalingam University, in Virudhunagar has strong placement records. In the year 2024, over 1650 students from UG and PG courses got placed with a median salary around 4.5 lakhs per annum, and the highest package reached 50 lakhs per annum. Employers include Amazon, Cognizant, HCL, IBM, Dell, ICICI Bank and others. Around 250 internship offers were made as well, and more than 150 recruiters visited campus.
