Yes college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. There are wifi facilities and smart boards available and they all are used and well maintained, also the living spaces are kept clean and the food is prepared in a hygienic manner.
Currently I am studying computer science and engineering. The quality of teaching is excellent with modern methods of teaching being used. Everything here is well updated and includes all the recent developments in field.
The quality of placements is quite good here at my college with almost hundred percent placements every year with quite a good sum of package being given to every student, also according to what has been heard process is easy and pleasant for every student.
The fees for the college including hostel and mess is average only and is not being overcharged and the kind of facilities we get I think there is total payback of money being spend.
College campus is quite marvellous with every opportunities being provided that a student should get and everyone there is of good nature and kind hearted.
Yes, all facilities are well maintained. The living space is clean and hygiene. 24*7 library facility plus wifi . The entire campus is bliss to eyes. Food courts in campus, garden for refreshment and sports n gym in each campus .
Amazing set of teacher , who are there for you both online or offline way. Professors are well educated and experienced. Regular quiz n assignment for better understanding. Curriculum is updated and according to latest UGC norms.
Placement scenario is excellent in CSE branch. The highest package of this year approx. 29 Lakh pa. And average is around 6-5 Lakh pa. Around 140 companies participating in placement with 4000 job offers.
The fees being charged is too much. One needs to pay around 4.5 lakh per year (including tuition and hostel fees)
KIIT has an excellent infrastructure. There is adequate number of laboratories in excellent condition, a 5-storey building for library, multiple swimming pools, gyms, grounds and facilities for all major sports. The rooms in the hostel are in good condition and cleaned regularly. The hostel has an active WiFi connection. There are food courts distributed all around the campus.
The course of CSE is quite outdated. The course does not include recent developments such ML, Web Development etc. which is much need skills nowadays. However, the course makes you job ready with minimum required skills.
The placement scenario for branches like CS and IT are very good. Kiit guarantees 100% placement and is successful in placing almost all the students of the CS, IT branch with average package being 4-5 lpa. The placement percentage goes down to 75-80 for the core branches. The highest offer of 20 lpa was bagged by a student in CSE this year.
Kiit charges a lot of money as fee. Currently, only the academic fees is 1.75 lakhs per semester and this amount increases every 3 to 4 years. The mess and the hostel charges are acceptable. After 4 years, the total cost sums up to around 20-22 lakhs and then getting a job offer of 4-5 lpa (average package at kiit for CS)...you need to work 4 to 5 years just to recover the fees....
Kiit has an excellent and a beautiful campus. There are a lot of societies; societies for everything - drama, debate, dancing, singing, photography, technical stuffs... The college organises a 3-day fest where renowned Bollywood stars, DJs, Comedians, singers perform. Most of the support staffs and teachers are friendly and helpful. The campus is totally safe for the students. It's at a safe location and never affected by the external disturbances.
The experience has been really good. The campus is great. The job packages that they provide to the most average students are also nice. The labs and classes and good. Studies are good. Great scope for extracurricular activities. I have not even once regretted joining this college.
The studies are good and the teaching pattern is good. Teachers are good. Helpful and friendly. We are constantly told about what to think about doing in our future and it keeps reminding us what to keep our focus on.
The placements are good. For the most average of students the companies that come for job interviews provide good packages.. i hope i get a good package too just like my seniors from whom I've heard about the placements.
Excellent infrastructure and facilities throughout the campus . A variety of labs and programs present to guide the students. Moreover all the labs are well equipped and well furnished . Proper funding for higher research is also present.
Well qualified faculty present to guide the students in their academics. The syllabus is also properly curated for the future requirements of the students. The students are provided with various webminars and courses to further help in higher education.
Pretty good placemnts for all those who work hard. The college conducts campus placemnts each year for the students and majority of students from my department do get placed eventually. The college also provides placement training to all the students.
KIIT provides a central library where one can find books of different branches covering different subjects. It has a cafeteria, sports complex, gym, etc. Convenience stores are also within walking distance so u can buy stationery items.KIITconvenience stores are within campus too. KIIMS hospital is also nearby and students of k are exempt from visit fees, only one will have to pay for the medicines.
Computer science, IT, Electronics has good teachers and provide good placement, computer science teachers are very good, they get your basics clear, whereas core branch not many of them are good. Teachers here are concerned whether the student understood or not, they will make sure that you focus on studying for all 4 years, in1st-year teachers would inform our parents too if some student isn't doing well. 2nd yr onwards, parents are not involved as students have grown up.
KIIT is known for its placement. Software placements are very good, The training and placement team is best, they will prepare you for placement from 4 the sem(2nd yr) onwards. The average CTC is 3-5 LPA. It has record of above 90% palcement.
i havent visited the campus personally yet, but one of our teachers gave a full tour recently in the online class ,and as per that we have all the facilities, good infrastructures and all the necessary equipment for academics, sports, etc are present in the campus.
as we are still attending online class and are yet to visit and learn offline cant cmnt much neither complain about academics, but the study material and courses are well designated. if you pay proper attention you will definetely learn.the curriculum is same as all the other engineering colleges.
as per this years data the placements have been good, more than 16 companies offered more thn 10 lpa and 100+ offered more than 5 lpa, highest was from amazon 30. this data is from the first 5 days of placements, the placements are still going on, so all and all it has a decent placement record
cant really cmnt on that unless you visit there and experience the facilities and campus by yourself, the fees is really high as compared to other colleges, but they say they provide you with such facilities and placements that it feels worth it,will update my review after going to the campus and experiencing myself
not yet experienced, waiting for a long time still college is reopening, cant really blame the authorities as they have to ensure the safety of students first as per as campus tour and vlogs done by seniours the campus looks mesmerising and has all facilities.
Best among all and i dont think any other colleges have such a good infrastructure and not only that classrooms as well other areas such as libraries and gums swimming pools are also well maintained so its a completely well maintained university
Very authentic just because apart from class room teaching i am experiencing a good and wonderful online teaching too so I would say teachers are quite good and cooperating not only in studies but in other fields too.
Far better than other colleges i guess because what i just heard from seniors its quite remarkable and i am still in 3rd year so i havent been into that process so once i get to sit in placements and get a decent job then i will surely change this description.
Yeah obviously just because of its facilities and till now the description i have been writing signifies the value for money and till now my i have experienced my college life upto 2nd year and after that unfortunately pandemic ruined everything.
Upto 2nd year was good then corona happened! Yes so cant tell much about campus life because being a decent in studies kind of guy i used to spend the whole day in classroom and coming up to the location and handling emergencies i guess kiit has got it own medical college so yes better at handling that scenarios.
Awesome college and even i cant express its essence in words though i have written 1000 words in last description boxes so yes its a very good college with a appropriate study as well as co-curricular atmosphere.
The infrastructure of our college is very good. We have a three-storey world-class library. Food served in the hostel is average yet very much better and is edible. We have two canteens as well. All kinds of sports are available for students. All classrooms are well equipped with all necessary projectors and whiteboards to teach. High-speed WIFI is also available.
I am studying 2nd year of BBA LLB. The quality of teaching is very good here. The faculty here are good and helpful. The course curriculum is very well designed, and it is very much easy for the students to understand and makes the students industry ready.
College does have a placement cell and most students do get jobs from the college itself, yet the only drawback is the salary offered are often low. Students do get a national and international offer. IT all depends on students calibre
The fees charged is a bit high, since it would cost around 4,80,000 to 5,00,000 for one year, (this includes semester fee, hostel fees, mess fees and other related fees as well).
One of the best thing about studying at KIIT is its campus life. We do celebrate all festivals and have a farewell, freshers party. We do have many societies such as moot court society, TASS society, Cultural activities society etc... All of them keep conducting programs that would enhance the students to participate and learn many new things.
Our college has good infrastructure. Although I haven't visited the college physical due to this current pandemic but as per the official website, I fuond that the best facilities are provided in terms of infrastructure.
I am continuing with online classes which is conducted regularly. I am very much aware about the updated syllabus. Our teachers are friendly and helpful to us. They are very much involved in the curriculum.
Good placement are provided by the college. The final year students are placement from different multinational companies and the college authorities are very much co-operative in this matter. As I'm in first year, so don't know about the difficulty level.
Yes, it's absolutely value for money. We get to explore a lot many things with new new opportunities in different societies given to us for our betterment only. So, it's worth my money and Affordable also.
I haven't experienced my campus life yet and eagerly waiting for the college to open. As far as I know, our college is sorounded with so much greenery and it's very studious environment. It's in prime location.
Yes, you can apply for a transfer from KIIT Bhubaneswar to KL University, Vijayawada, but KL will treat you as a new admission through their lateral entry/transfer policy. This usually means you’ll need to go through their admission process, submit migration/transfer certificates, and get course equivalence approved. However, you will not get a direct fee waiver KL University will charge its own tuition and may not adjust fees already paid to KIIT. You can request concessions through the admissions office, but full transfer without extra payment is generally not possible.
These are prominent institutes in India:
If you compare KIIT Bhubaneswar, VIT Vellore, and BITS Pilani on education, infrastructure, and placements, here's a view:
VIT Vellore stands out with infrastructure and top recruiters like Google and Microsoft. It offers the highest packages, with averages around Rs 9.9 LPA and max up to Rs 88 LPA.
BITS Pilani is known for strong academics and solid placements, with median packages near RS 18 LPA and top companies hiring regularly.
KIIT Bhubaneswar is growing fast with good facilities and decent placement offers, averaging around Rs 6.5 LPA.
All three provide quality education and good campus life, but your choice should depend on your course and preferences. For detailed info, you can visit careers360 official site

Dear aspirant,
With 96 percentile in JEE MAIN, and being an OBC- NCL female candidate you have a decent chance of getting CSE in many good private colleges but not in top NITs unless your OBC rank is within 10,000 . Since you're from outside of Odisha, KIIT doesn't offer state quota advantage , but you can still get CSE there through KIITEE or direct admission if seats are available, as it’s a private university. Some good colleges for you includes Shiv Nadar University, LNCT Bhopal , MIT-WPU, Pune , SRM,VIT, Jaypee Noida . If budget allows, you will get CSE admission in top private colleges. You can visit this link given below for more information.
Good luck.
