College have a well defined classrooms with all primary facilities plus secure and powerful wifi connection with digital classrooms which help in studies a lot. A huge Library which could help you to study whatever you need. Hostels are good but the food quality still needs to improve.
I am doing BTECH in cse department. Quality of teaching is very good since the college is in Odisha the teachers over there have an Odia accent which sometimes can lead to bit of misunderstanding. But still the teachers present over there give there full efforts to make you learn the concepts clearly.
Quality of placements have been very high. Almost every student studying in the college gets placed. The highest package was around 40 lakhs last year. The average salary was around 5-6 lakhs. I can't say about other Departments but in CSE this is the record
See honestly speaking the fees structure is high 1.75 lakhs per semester . See teachers show there dedication to teach students very well but still i think Fees is very high
College has a beautiful campus. Student can do whatever they want , be it sports , extra curricular activities , studies as well as many other occupations. Support staff and teachers are always there to help you . See the location is the best area you could find in Bhubaneshwar. It is very safe. Yes it also has a medical college so any time you require any help they are ready to offer you.
College is really good if you choose it you will really find the worth
The college has all the necessary facilities and equipments required and it also maintains everything in proper manner. The living spaces are all clean and hygienic. The food offered there is really good and is hygienic.
I'm studying b.tech in computer science and yes the quality of education is good but there is always room for improvement there. The curriculum is updated and the study patterns really help in better understanding.
It provides good amount of placement facilities at the college. The highest salary offered was about 22 lakes at it went to the cse department. The average salary offered was around 4 lakhs I think. Yes the college is supportive always in the placement issues and helps with the training and all.
Yes I'm getting my money's worth, but still it can improve much and then it will be much more worth it.
The college campus is huge with the infrastructure all set up beautifully and the students can engage themselves in different activities like sports, group work, spending time with their friends there. All of the people are really nice there and supportive, friendly and yes the location is safe and is ready to handle the emergencies.
KIIT has all the necessary infrastructure. AC classrooms, well-maintained laboratories are present. All clean and hygienic. The infrastructure in KIIT is good as it has AC classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled campus, a library, and good labs for practicals. The hostels are good (AC and Non-AC) with a separate space for international students. ... 95% of the students are placed in good companies with an average package of 6 Lacs per annum.
Quality of education is more than satisfactory ! The daily routine is different for different batches. Our daily routine starts at 8 am in the morning and end at 2 pm without any break(including labs). Total internal marks in the subject are 40 out of which 25 marks are a mid-sem examination and 15 marks for assignment (2 assignments per semester) and quiz test. Quality of education is very good in our University. Because all the faculties are from either NITs or IITs.
Placements are a bit tricky here. You have to work way up to the top to get the dream package. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology has been showing an impressive performance in placement since its inception. The number of companies visiting KIIT campus, salary offered to students and the number of job offers has increased in the recent year. KIIT always aims for 100% placements and trains the students accordingly.
An average of 20 lakhs is the cost of education here for a typical student persuing Btech in 4yrs, which is in my opinion, too much !
Campus Life is beyond my expectations ! 9/10
Overall a decent college
Infrastructure vise it's really great. great facility of Wifi all over the campus many sports centre all around the university. Library is also very cool and maintainence is also good. hygeine is also better than other colleges
I am currently studying Computer Science, and the quality of teaching is very good. It's good. Curriculum is updated to the current course. so all the things are good too. Ovrall it's cool and not any problem.
Placement is ensured , in the end the salary offered depends upon the student but many good companies come in college which increases the number of students getting placed. Rest is dependent on student.
It cost 4 lakh per year, which seems very high and this is the one factor of college which is overly increased every year.
Campus is very safe like you can easily walk here at any time without any problem.
It's ok, not a bad college and not a very good college. But since I am in the college so it's cool for me
Yes the college is having all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment . Classroom are fully air-conditioned , lab are equipped with all the required and latest instruments. World class libraries are there. Sports is one of the best part of the college well qualified trainers are there. Hostel is well maintained and WiFi is available . Yes the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am studying Computer Science and the teacher are well educated and qualified . Yes the curriculum is updated . Teachers are very good and having a good amount of experience in there respective subjects.
Placement is good inside the campus. Highest salary package offered this year was 30 lakh. As I have not yet experienced the placement process so I cannot tell you more about it. But if you want more information you can go to the official website of the college and get the information you are looking for. Nothing is hidden .
Yes the facilities that the college provides is value for money.
Campus is 100% safe for both boys and girls. Yes the emergencies can be handled.
Amazing campus life you won't regret for the money you invested . Make good and supportive friends and the rest of the campus life will get sorted automatically.
Yes college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. There are wifi facilities and smart boards available and they all are used and well maintained, also the living spaces are kept clean and the food is prepared in a hygienic manner.
Currently I am studying computer science and engineering. The quality of teaching is excellent with modern methods of teaching being used. Everything here is well updated and includes all the recent developments in field.
The quality of placements is quite good here at my college with almost hundred percent placements every year with quite a good sum of package being given to every student, also according to what has been heard process is easy and pleasant for every student.
The fees for the college including hostel and mess is average only and is not being overcharged and the kind of facilities we get I think there is total payback of money being spend.
College campus is quite marvellous with every opportunities being provided that a student should get and everyone there is of good nature and kind hearted.
Yes, all facilities are well maintained. The living space is clean and hygiene. 24*7 library facility plus wifi . The entire campus is bliss to eyes. Food courts in campus, garden for refreshment and sports n gym in each campus .
Amazing set of teacher , who are there for you both online or offline way. Professors are well educated and experienced. Regular quiz n assignment for better understanding. Curriculum is updated and according to latest UGC norms.
Placement scenario is excellent in CSE branch. The highest package of this year approx. 29 Lakh pa. And average is around 6-5 Lakh pa. Around 140 companies participating in placement with 4000 job offers.
The fees being charged is too much. One needs to pay around 4.5 lakh per year (including tuition and hostel fees)
KIIT has an excellent infrastructure. There is adequate number of laboratories in excellent condition, a 5-storey building for library, multiple swimming pools, gyms, grounds and facilities for all major sports. The rooms in the hostel are in good condition and cleaned regularly. The hostel has an active WiFi connection. There are food courts distributed all around the campus.
The course of CSE is quite outdated. The course does not include recent developments such ML, Web Development etc. which is much need skills nowadays. However, the course makes you job ready with minimum required skills.
The placement scenario for branches like CS and IT are very good. Kiit guarantees 100% placement and is successful in placing almost all the students of the CS, IT branch with average package being 4-5 lpa. The placement percentage goes down to 75-80 for the core branches. The highest offer of 20 lpa was bagged by a student in CSE this year.
Kiit charges a lot of money as fee. Currently, only the academic fees is 1.75 lakhs per semester and this amount increases every 3 to 4 years. The mess and the hostel charges are acceptable. After 4 years, the total cost sums up to around 20-22 lakhs and then getting a job offer of 4-5 lpa (average package at kiit for CS)...you need to work 4 to 5 years just to recover the fees....
Kiit has an excellent and a beautiful campus. There are a lot of societies; societies for everything - drama, debate, dancing, singing, photography, technical stuffs... The college organises a 3-day fest where renowned Bollywood stars, DJs, Comedians, singers perform. Most of the support staffs and teachers are friendly and helpful. The campus is totally safe for the students. It's at a safe location and never affected by the external disturbances.
The experience has been really good. The campus is great. The job packages that they provide to the most average students are also nice. The labs and classes and good. Studies are good. Great scope for extracurricular activities. I have not even once regretted joining this college.
The studies are good and the teaching pattern is good. Teachers are good. Helpful and friendly. We are constantly told about what to think about doing in our future and it keeps reminding us what to keep our focus on.
The placements are good. For the most average of students the companies that come for job interviews provide good packages.. i hope i get a good package too just like my seniors from whom I've heard about the placements.
Excellent infrastructure and facilities throughout the campus . A variety of labs and programs present to guide the students. Moreover all the labs are well equipped and well furnished . Proper funding for higher research is also present.
Well qualified faculty present to guide the students in their academics. The syllabus is also properly curated for the future requirements of the students. The students are provided with various webminars and courses to further help in higher education.
Pretty good placemnts for all those who work hard. The college conducts campus placemnts each year for the students and majority of students from my department do get placed eventually. The college also provides placement training to all the students.
Hello Aditya,
With a NEET UG 2025 score of approximately 280, getting a BDS seat in Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS), KIIT University, Odisha will be a challenge. The NEET cut-off ranks for BDS in KIDS from previous years suggest that it will be very difficult. In fact, the closing rank for BDS at KIDS was 1,198,235 for general category in Round 3, NEET 2023 and 1,011,636, NEET 2022 (Both NEET scores were significantly above 280).
That said, cut-off scores based on ranks are not stable year to year based on the number of applications, seat availability or other performance observed in a particular year. However, you should still take part in the NEET counselling process and look at other private dental colleges, where the cut-off marks may be lower. HEY THERE!!
Which to Choose?
UPES is preferable if you desire better placement percentages, updated curriculum with specialisations, and greater international exposure. The highest and average packages are also slightly improved, and the university provides good industry relations and global options.
KIIT is also an excellent private university with a good reputation, good placements, and great campus life. If you like its campus culture or location, it's still a strong option.
In general, UPES has a marginal advantage in placements and industry interaction for Computer Science.
Select according to your preferences: location, charges, campus, and specializations.
Hello Pranav,
Choosing between IIPM Bangalore or KSRM, KIIT (ABM) will depend on your aspirations, budget, and needs with respect to the academics and placements.
If you want a recognized MBA in Agribusiness Management with UGC-approved degrees and you are looking for a short career path in the sectors of Agriculture, development and rural management, and you want structured academics and decent resources and growing relationships with the industry, then KSRM, KIIT (ABM) is surely the better choice. IIPM Bangalore has been known, in the past, for its aggressive marketing and popularity, but there are negative sentiments in the professional arena regarding the lack of academic credibility over the past. Furthermore, they do not offer UGC-recognized degrees, which perhaps would hinder your career or postgraduate education and career goals in government jobs.
Verdict:
If you are looking for a legitimate, recognized, and secure degree with a future in sector-specific options for careers, choose KSRM, KIIT (ABM).
