Yes, the university has most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for engineering education. The campus has well-equipped laboratories, libraries, smart classrooms, computer centers, sports facilities, hostels, seminar halls, and internet connectivity. The university also provides facilities such as a gymnasium, auditorium, cafeteria, and training & placement cell. However, some parts of the infrastructure are old and require better maintenance. While the facilities are available, their upkeep and modernization can be improved to enhance the overall student experience. Overall, the infrastructure is sufficient for academic and extracurricular activities.
I am pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree because I have a strong interest in technology, problem-solving, and engineering applications. The course provides both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, helping students build technical and analytical skills. The quality of teaching is generally good. Most faculty members are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, although the teaching experience may vary across departments and subjects. Some professors focus strongly on concepts and practical learning, while others rely more on traditional teaching methods. The curriculum covers the fundamentals of engineering and includes a variety of subjects relevant to the field. However, certain parts of the syllabus could be updated more frequently to match current industry requirements and emerging technologies. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but students often need to learn additional industry-relevant skills through self-study, certifications, and projects to improve their career prospects.
The placement opportunities at the college are decent, especially for students from core engineering branches and those with good technical and communication skills. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in engineering, IT, consulting, and related sectors. The percentage of students placed varies each year depending on the branch and market conditions. A reasonable number of eligible students secure placements through campus recruitment, while others opt for higher studies, government examinations, or off-campus opportunities. The average salary package is moderate, with a few students receiving higher packages from top recruiters. The Training and Placement Cell actively organizes placement drives, internship opportunities, aptitude training, and skill development programs to improve students' employability. Overall, placements are satisfactory, but students are encouraged to work on additional skills, internships, certifications, and projects to maximize their chances of securing better job opportunities.
The annual course fee is relatively affordable compared to many private engineering colleges. As a government engineering institution, the college offers quality education, experienced faculty, laboratory facilities, library resources, and various extracurricular opportunities at a reasonable cost.
The campus life is vibrant and provides students with a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities. The college has spacious grounds, sports facilities, hostels, a library, cafeterias, and various student clubs that contribute to an engaging campus environment. One of the best features of the campus is its strong student community and active participation in technical, cultural, and sports events. Students can take part in annual fests, workshops, seminars, coding competitions, technical clubs, cultural programs, sports tournaments, and social activities, which help in overall personality development.
Everything is Good !! But i think something is missing in my college really that is fest culture and theses kinda things
As MBM engineering college was founded in 1951, its infrastructure is not on par with today's standards, but is robust and has a lot of memories in it, and is continuously evolving with time, proof of which is the new department of petroleum engineering, that has all the latest features with outstanding interior.
MBM engineering college, being one of the oldest in the state, was known for the quality of engineers it produced back in the day. It still maintains its standards and its fine record. The professors are very sound and thorough in their respective fields. The curriculum is not the best, but has a wide variety of subjects to groom the student as an engineer as well as a professional being.
If you are reading this review, I would suggest you to refer to the university's official record for better understanding of the past placements. Tech branches surely provide you an opportunity to secure a good job, only if you have the potential.
MBM university being a government institution, offers technical degrees of BE and B Tech at a very low tuition fee. It has two types of branches based on fees: Student Funded Scheme(SFS) Goverment Aided Scheme(GAS) Fees: GAS<SFS For hostel and mess fee structure, refer to the website of the institution. In my opinion, it is value for the money paid.
It has a very vast campus consisting of 2 football grounds , a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a lot of cultural clubs in which students can showcase their talents, pursue their hobbies and perform at events and fests organised in the college.
It is a good institution.
MBM university have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment but they are not well maintained and for some equipment you have to take multiple permission spaces are clean. sports centers are there hostels are also present but it is not maintained.
In past it provided B.E. degree but from 2028 batch it started b.tech courses. the quality of teaching in some aspect is poor and in some field is good. exam checking is very bad or you can say worst.
placement are very good in this college around 70% students are placed mostly 9.5 lpa max package is around 25 LPA in campus as for off campus is 60 LPA but alumini do help in placement very much it alumni network is very strong and friendly
Infrastructure is good and lab are normal not very good. And infrastructure is good but not maintained properly if it is maintained properly then it can become a very good college in terms of infrastructure and location in the city
Academics of the college vary a lot depending on the year you are in and the Branch. In some you have a very strict academic rules and have to follow and abide them and in some you are free to do whatever you wanna
Placement is very good and mostly students get placement if they are studying. About half get on campus places but the remaining have to do things on their own. For core brancher it is too good but for other like tech it is not much specially.
The college campus is very large and has two campus north and south having different-different departments in them. Has very old type Infrastructure made of Jodhpur rocks. College has gym, playing grounds, library , different sports courts and many other facilities.
Classes are taken regularly by guest faculties and labs also are taken by them regularly and seriously. 75% attendence is necessary in both labs and classes. Have 2 mid terms and a end sem in each sem. In 1st year all students study same subjects.
Placements are very good in our college as many companies come in the in campus placements and college also help a lot in in campus and even in off campus placements. each year the max and avg package is increasing.
College is located at very good place as it is present in center of the city. Buildings are very good as have old architecture and structure but not maintained regularly. Department buildings are good looking.
Classes and Labs are taken very seriously in our branch but in some other branches not taken very seriously. Teachers are also very good and supportive in nature. Exams and assignments are also taken regularly and seriously.
Placements are very good in our college as many companies come for the in campus placements. College also helps in off campus placements. Internships are also provided by the college on basis of CGPA.
very good infrastructure, building and roads are good in condition but less maintained sometimes. facilities of canteen and library are not good. toilets are uncleaned. old type of buildings. playing ground are not maintained.
classes are not taken on regular basis and labs also not taken very seriously. attendance not taken very seriously. in some department classes and labs are taken seriously and 75% attendence system also
in some departments like mining and petroleum and etc placements are very good and condition of incampus placements is also good, whereas in some cases like other departments like cse and other it has very bad condition
college infrastructure is okay. like it is at a very good place in the city. it has all the required places near it like vegetable shops, stationary, hostels, pg, bank, and other daily required things. its infrastructure is not too good but not even too bad. for just an tier3 college it is okay
academics in this college are not too good as the classes and labs are not taken serious at all especially in the cse and some other departements from 2nd year of the college. in 1st year also they teach al the things rather than the things of the stream the student have chosen
college placements have a very bad situation like just half of the studentset placed and they also get place at very low packages only few get the fair package. for internships clg do provide. little help but for placements not much companies come at tpo of the clg.
Hostel condition is not good and course is okay but not great. Too many subjects in final year which is not normal. Training/internship period is small. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Classrooms are old but okay. Library is good but management can be improved. Medical facilities are almost nil. No medical personnel, little awareness about medical facilities available to students. But they're working on it.
The course is good compared to other departments. They are always there for the betterment of students. The co-curricular activities began this year only. The difficulty level of the exam is not as high as the exam we have midterm, which helps us prepare. Passing marks are 35 out of 100.
The percentage of placement in ours is 50%. The highest package was 16 lacs and the lowest was 3.4 LPA and the top recruiting companies were Vedanta, Adani, L&T, and Steel Works. Only the top 20% of students get internships at the best companies. The best roles offered are research and development and GET
Time spend with some amazing people.
College campus is old stabilised and looking good . Here is a big library in it. Where many book are placed in it. Playground is big and many games are played there. Overall campus is good for study in it.
Teaching facilities are not good for first year but after first year there is good teaching facilities in own department. Many events are held there to develop the skills of students. Actually students have to do their own efforts to develop her/his skills.
Placement ratio is average here. Core branches placement ratio of college in on campus is good. Mining and computer science department has highest package. This year highest off campus placement is 51 lacs per annum offered by Microsoft.
