Well I am very sorry to inform you Sathvik that you will not get Computer Science and Engineering in any of the 31 NITs with or without home state quota. I request you to either reconsider your choice of branch or look for admission through some other exams and counselling.

It is difficult to get admission in the NITs with this rank. Your rank is quite high to procure seat in any of the NITs. You can try for state government college or private colleges in your state.

You have not mentioned which state you belong to. With a rank of around 29,000 in obc category, you can get NIT's only in a few branches in a few states. But, getting a seat in top NIT's is not possible. Also, One thing to keep in mind

College Infrastructure

NIT Manipur has really good infrastructure for our course. Students were provided with all the necessary facilities at this college. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, computer labs, hostel, sports and all other facilities were given to the students and properly managed by the college management. The food in the canteen and mess was good to eat at an affordable price.

My college which is NIT MANIPUR is having a decent infrastructure all the necessary things are provided to us in the hostel like Almirah, Chair and Table, and wifi facility is their in each hostel. The infrastructure can be improved..

College Infrastructure

The NIT Manipur College infrastructure is too bad for sure. Their is always water logging in the campus in june-july and students have to suffer because of this. Their is wifi facility in hostel and their is mess but the it offers very low quality food.
