NIT Patna is ranked 134 by NIRF. It has good placement records. The minimum package ranges from 2.5L to 3L and the average package is 4.5 L to 5 L whereas the maximum package is 16.85L per annum in CSE. Companies like Wipro,Google,Infosys,accenture,Microsoft offer placements.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very bad. The bricks that were attached to the walls of the college were not fixed properly. We have the classrooms with projectors,but we haven't seen the professors using those to teach us.We don't have smart boards. We have a good Library with a plenty of books.They are only useful for academics ,but not for other purposes like preparing for govt. jobs... We've a small ground in which we can't play football and cricket at a time.(that small it is....) we've good laboraties with all equipment. In our hostel we have wifi facilities(only ethernet but not internet). Living spaces are not clean and the food is not hygienic.(once we questioned mess incharge.He replied-"We Bihari's prefer quantity over quality."
