try to score as high as possible. there is no particular number to it. for home state it will be near to 1K and for open state it will be below 500. Demand of CSE and ECE is high so rank bar for both is very low which makes it more difficult to crack.

try to score 80% of total marks which is a safe place. as there are many campus of NIT. you will get into one for sure.

Try to solve as many questions possible and if there is any negative marking then don't do guess work in that section.

NIT Patna is ranked 134 by NIRF. It has good placement records. The minimum package ranges from 2.5L to 3L and the average package is 4.5 L to 5 L whereas the maximum package is 16.85L per annum in CSE. Companies like Wipro,Google,Infosys,accenture,Microsoft offer placements.

If your brother wants to study BArch at NIT (any campus) then he have to appear JEE Mains Paper2. If you secures a good rank i.e. below 2-3K then he can surely join at any campus. If you are saying that he can join through some YOJNA then no its not possible. YOJNA is made to ease the process that doesn't mean candidates don't have to follow the process. He has to do everything which is mandartory for a candidate to do for admission. On the basis of qualification your brother can apply for  any yojna, reimbruisement or scholarships. That is different thing.

NOTE:- He has to follow the complete process as states by NTA board and further counselling process.

Why NIT will change. You should have mentioned with what respect you want to know. There is no such changes told for 2nd years.

if you are in 2nd year then you have to continue with your course and schedule provided.

If there is any changes done you will get notified by the concerned officials  or department faculties.

Any change related to academics or information are confidential to outside world of NIT and they hold a high value.

Colleges only share the academic resources in the National Learning site i.e. NPTEL so that other private or NON- NIT students can use them as reference.

If you have any doubt you are advised to ask to your Department HOD and get clarified.
