Hello aspirant,
Well between a NIT and a private engineering college, it is better to join a NIT since it is government college and the fees is also less compared to a private engineering college. Still below I have provided the required details about both the colleges -
NIT Patna
Well, Electronics and communication stream in NIT Patna is playing quite a significant role in its areas of interest for their students . There are advanced labs with the latest infrastructure and one also gets to learn under the able guidance of respective professors and the appointed lab technician. Classes
Hey Farhan,
NIT Patna is no doubt a very good college but still IIEST Shibpur has got an upper hand instead. If we talk in terms of ranking, then IIEST takes a lead over NIT Patna and obviously the degree holds a national level importance too.
You can compare both
Hello aspirant!! If only one seat is left then there is very les chance of getting seat in NIT Patna in Civil Engineering branch. I wish that you get the seat. All the best!!
Hello,
IIEST shibpur is ranked significantly more better than nit patna.
IIEST shibpur has a edge over nit patna over these aspects -
The college infrastructure is very bad. The bricks that were attached to the walls of the college were not fixed properly. We have the classrooms with projectors, but we haven't seen the professors using those to teach us.We don't have smart boards. We have a good Library with a plenty of books. They are only useful for academics ,but not for other purposes like preparing for govt. jobs... We've a small ground in which we can't play football and cricket at a time.(that small it is....) we've good laboraties with all equipment. In our hostel we have wifi facilities(only ethernet but not internet). Living spaces are not clean and the food is not hygienic.(once we questioned mess incharge. He replied-"We Bihari's prefer quantity over quality."
The new Bihta campus is being developed with world-class infrastructure—multiple academic blocks, lecture halls, a central library, hostels, a sports complex, and eco-friendly designs with solar power and rainwater harvesting systems.
The new campus expansion is also in progress, focusing on research centers and upgraded hostel facilities. Overall, NIT Patna’s infrastructure is improving rapidly and provides a suitable environment for both academic and personal growth.
