Yes definitely you can get admission in NIT Patna on the basis of your JEE-Main 2022 score even if you have not scored 75% or more marks in class 12th because just like previous year, this year as well the 75% criteria has been lifted off and now the candidate needs to be only passed in all the subjects of class 12th.

It is very tough to precisely tell whether you will get a seat or not, as cutoff varies every year because of the number of students appearing every year change and it depends upon the difficulty of the paper as well.

Moreover looking at the previous year cutoff the minimum rank was 3050 for open category, and maximum rank was 42708 for open category.

Choosing between two colleges is hard as every college has some good and bad aspects.

Electrical engineering from NIT Patna might not ensure a proper placement as the Computer Science branch has more placements as compared to any other branch. Being said that here the educators are always helpful, a positive environment for self-study are the good point

IIIT Guwahati similarly has nice placement records for the CSE branch. It is among the prime IIITs of India. Generous faculty and a favorable environment are the plus points. It is relatively new as described by NIT Patna.

You can determine the college which according to you will be good for you. I would like to recommend IIIT Guwahati.

Highest package offered at NIT Patna is 43 LPA this year with an average package of 5.7 LPA in electrical engineering branch, whereas highest package offered at MNIT Jaipur is 38 LPA and an average package of 8 LPA in chemical engineering branch. Hence MNIT JAIPUR has a clear edge over NIT Patna in terms of placement. Even other important factors like alumni base, academics, faculty, infrastructure is far ahead in MNIT JAIPUR compared to NIT PATNA.

JNU is Jawaharlal Nehru University. This university was established in 1969 and was names after our first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru. It is a public central major research university located in New Delhi. And NIT( National Institute of Technology), Patna. This university was established in 1886 and it is one of the oldest engineering institutes in India.

Dear candidate, you know that NIT is an institution of National Importance but considering other NITs, the Patna Campus may not be that pleasant. This is because here the placement records are moderate and campus life is also restricted. Coming to IIIT Sonepat, it is also a very prestigious institution, where you would get highly qualified faculties, PhD seniors helping you in your academics, placements by companies like IBM and many other MNCs with starting package of 6-12 LPA. Overall this is indeed a wiser choice than NIT Patna,
