Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your CRL rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.
So If we go through the analysis of Percentile Vs CRL rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 495030 - 556485 .
Note that the ranks which are predicted are only the expected ranks on the basis of previous year's data so your actual ranks might vary depending upon current factors.
Based on such rank you have no chances for CSE branch or any other branch in NIT Patna because the closing CRL rank in 2021 for female quota was around 22k in Round 6 of JOSAA counselling.
You can check out previous year's cut-off from the official website given below :-
https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
On such percentile, as you are a General candidate so you have no chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.
You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

Good Luck!!
Dear aspirant,
We can't predict the exact situation as your rank and possibilities depend on the number of students attempting exam, their preferences etc. Looking at the previous year trends, we can say that you have a good chance of getting about 5.5k category rank .
The cut-offs for ECE has been around 4k last year and hence it is hard to get ECE in NIT Patna . Based on the previous year trends you have a good chance of getting Civil, Electrical and mechanical in NIT Patna .
For more accurate predictions, please use the rank predictor linked below.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
Even if you are from the obc category and you are aiming to go for NIT Patna, you need to score atleast 96+ percentile to get the courses available there in the college.
The minimum rank required to get the lowest branch like civil, mechanical in this college 96.5+ percentile even in obc category. So, it is not possible to get this college. You may look for some other colleges as a backup .
Maybe you should keep colleges like BIT mesra , Assam University, gurughasi das, kongri Vishwavidyalaya as backup.
Yes definitely! If you have an OBC quota and if you couple it up with state quota, then you are sure to get National Institute of Technology Patna, albeit with a lower branch like Civil Engineering. And if the results are not according to your analysis, then you can always try a next year and give the exam with more preparation!
You can use our college predictor to get a better analysis for the colleges that you may get:

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Hello Aspirant,
As you are having domicile certificate of Bihar so you will definitely be eligible for Home state quota of NIT Patna even if you complete your class 12th from Delhi, because during JOSAA counselling your Home state is not considered from your state code of eligibility but it is considered from your domicile so as you holds the valid domicile certificate of Bihar so you can definitely get the benefit of Home state quota for NIT Patna on the basis of your JEE-Main score.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!!
Dear aspirant,
If i had to give my opinion then i would choose nit Silchar over nit Patna because nit Patna is a newer nit as compared to nit Silchar . In case computer science the average package for nit Silchar is 22L whereas for nit Patna it is 16L.
So you can see the difference . Companies like microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs,de Shaw , Cisco , dyte,work india, cognizant, wipro, infosys Accenture and many other tech giant visit the campus for recruitment.
Overall median package for nit Silchar is 8.5L per annum whereas for nit Patna it is 6L per annum.
While entering the main gate, you'll encounter with a ground on right hand side and main building in front. All respective department buildings are present in left and right side of main building. Overall infrastructure looks classic but space is very cozy as compared to other institutions.
nit college infrastructure was good but not bad and only one small ground available in the campus they are not fulfill for student requirement. it is well maintained library and laboratory and hostels are also well maintained
Yes all the facilities are available in my college from the instrument to the desirable equipments are provided to use. When I was a student of NIT Patna, the classroom is good there, labs are also fine and when we talk about our facilities, they provided US explore programs. The living space is good enough.
