Dear aspirant,
If you were to take my opinion then you should opt for nit Rourkela because its ranking is better both in management and engineering and it is also more renowned than mnit Jaipur.
In terms of placements both these nits are at par because the average package is not much as compared to a top B school. The average package in management is around 5-6L per annum in both the nits so i would recommend you to kindly if possible opt for other college which has strong alumini network in management and has good placement stats.
it is quite difficult to tell only about one is specialisation that's why I am mentioning the the placement details of overall courses. The National Institute of Technology Rourkela placement details of master of technology are as follows:

On the official website no such information is available as they have mentioned information course wise (like btech complete) and industry wise though overall the average package at per 2019 stats was 9.03lac approximate and median was 6.53 approximate it completely depends on institute whether it want to disclose its placement data but overall nit rourkela is a good institute.
unfortunately Bio is a compulsory subject in class 12 for taking life science. All you can do now is take up another course.
NIT allahabad vlsi may be better option here then nit calicut vlsi then nit rourkela vlsi mainly because course of all nits are almost same so if you are from north india then its better you join mnnit only otherwise you may even move sothwards also moreover since you will be joining mtech so most mtech students also do a secondary coaching for exams like upsc and allahabad has been known for coachings and has a rich legacy of top performers being from allahabad's coaching's only.
To the best of my knowledge for sc/st students at nit rourkela you are not charged any tution fee but yes you have to pay all other fee including hostel mess and others though the exact information can be found at the website of the institutes website also to the best of my knowledge some fee concession is also available to students who have less annual family income that is about under 5lac but exact information can be obtained from the institute.
Hey
NISER is National Institute of science education and research and NIT is National Institute of Technology as both the institutes are best at there place but if you have taken admission in NISER then go for it only beacuse it is good for Physics and faculties here are good enough and also the placement at NISER is available at a large variety if you have CGPA greater then 7.5. and also you will get two year to complete your Msc project in physics which is quite good . so, stay with NISER dont get confused , i hope it will help .
Good luck
Dear aspirant,
If you were to take my opinion ceramic engineering in india doesn't have much value because there are very less opportunities related to it. And as you will be doing masters in it so I would suggest you to try abroad for better opportunities.
If you are getting a good alternative I would suggest you to choose that.
