Hey there!
Well it is hard to predict about the colleges as admission to these institutes depends on various factors like:
1- Difficulty level of examination
2- No. of students appeared in exam
3- No. of seats available in institutes
4- Rank of candidate
5- Closing rank of programs
However we can get a rough idea of seat allocation by analyzing previous years trend.
---With 81 percentile and assuming your OPEN category, your rank would be anywhere in between 194370 - 218500, as per our JEE mains rank predictor tool
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Also according to previous years data, the maximum closing rank at various NITs for general category for CS and IT program is around 6000-12000 considering home state quota.

For IT- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-btech-information-technology
So, considering these data you have low chances for getting into NITs.

You got 96.76 percentile in jee mains 2022 so let me tell you that you have fair chances to get ECE branch in NIT Rourkela but for NIT Warangal it's a bit tough.
Since you belong to sc category it's really difficult to predict your rank on the basis of percentile because the number of sc category candidates differs every year and also their performance so one can't predict accurately.

Unfortunately you cannot do that. National Institute of Technology Rourkela takes admission into MTech Mining Engineering through GATE in Mining Engineering and not from GATE in Mechanical Engineering.
So, if you want to take admission in Mining Engineering, then you'll have to give GTAE in Mining Engineering and opt for the same paper. All the best!
Hello,
It is quite difficult for you to get both the mentioned colleges. As these are one of the top colleges so you have to score the above rank as well as percentile to get admission in these colleges. You have to be under 40k rank to get admission in these two colleges.
Thank You!
HEY THERE!
YOU'VE SCORED 137 IN JEE MAINS 2022 SESSION 1, BUT IT WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU COULD MENTION YOUR DATE AND SHIFT OF EXAM. WELL, CONSIDERING YOUR PAPER DIFFICULTY LEVEL AS MODERATE, YOU CAN EXPECT A PERCENTILE OF " 96.5 - 98 %ile".
HOWEVER, BASED ON PREVIOUS YEAR TRENDS ON MARKS vs PERCENTILE vs RANK, YOU CAN EXPECT IT TO BE: " AIR 29K-30K".
AGAIN, BASED ON PREVIOUS YEAR CUTOFF, THIS CAN BE SAID THAT YOU CAN GET NIT ROURKELA (FOR HOME STATE QUOTA) IN NON TECH- BRANCHES. SOME OF THEM ARE MENTIONED :
