Hello
99.89 percentile seems good percentile. I can give you rough idea about your rank under genral quota is around 26k. Under this rank you will get lot of NITs. You have a high chance of getting into top NITs. Although the cutoff for NITs is yet not released but as per the previous trends i can say yes you can get Computer science branch of Btech in NIT trichy with this score.
You can use college predictor here:-https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
sorry, you cannot get nit Trichy CSE. For home state SC category students closing was 1558 in 2021.
you can try next year or see which colleges you can get using a college predictor.
Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to predict your exact figure of rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.
So If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your ST rank is expected to be in the range of 1800-2500 .
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2021 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that you can get following branches under Home state quota in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli :-
Computer Science and Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
So you have good chances to get National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli with almost all of the branches under Home state quota.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main score or rank you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your EWS rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.
So If we go through the analysis of Percentile Vs CRL rank Vs EWS rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 71610 - 80500.
Note that the rank which is predicted are only the expected rank on the basis of previous year's data so your actual rank might vary depending upon current factors.
Based on such rank you have almost no chances for National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli because the closing CRL rank in 2021 was around 48000 for OBC-NCL category in Round 6 of JOSAA counselling.
You can check out previous year's cut-off from the official website given below :-
https://admissions.nic.in/CSABSpl/CSABSplReg/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
On such percentile, being an OBC-NCL candidate you have very good chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

Hi,
To take admission in NIT Trichy, you need to score 65% minimum marks (SC category) in class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects .
You need to attempt and clear JEE-Mains with good rank. As NITs accept ranks from JEE-Mains only (JEE-Advanced is only considered for IITs).
For computer science branch, you need to secure rank under 130 (not home state).
You can refer https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-trichy to get all trends for NIT- Trichy cutoffs and to get expected cut-off idea.
I suggest you to use JEE-Mains college predictor https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp to get more help during JEE-Mains results.
I hope it clarifies your doubt.
Thank you!
