Hello Aspirant,
As we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing rank for NIT Trichy was 1717 for Electrical and Electronics branch in NIT Trichy under Other state quota for OBC category. Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main 2021 score at least 130-150 marks out of 300 and percentile against this is expected to be in the range of 98.5-99.4.

Hi
Your profile suggests that you are from Tamilnadu so you are eligible for home state quota for NIT Trichy
This is a bit difficult to predict the rank required in JEE mains to get a seat in NIT trichy as cut off rank keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main paper 2 examination .
When we go through previous year trend then ,
In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , for gender neutral under home state to get Architecture (5 Years, Bachelor of Architecture) in National Institute of Technology, trichy , closing category rank for different categories is :-
Open :-615
Obc :-439 ( category rank)
Sc :- 341 ( category rank)
St :- 641 ( category rank)
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Now that,
limited time is left for jee mains 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,
practising chapterwise questions
then revising the chapters,
solve at least previous 10 year question papersas concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,
go through mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.
Thankyou
Dear aspirant,
The minimum marks can't be predicted as these parameters vary every year depending upon several factors. But as per my observations if you score a 98+ percentile you should be able to get atleast the lowest branch in nit Trichy but for cse and other non core branches you need atleast 99.8+ percentile.
Hello Aspirant,
As we go through the latest cut-offs of 2020 of 6th round of JOSAA then it shows that the closing rank for :

Other state - OBC-NCL - 242
ECE in NIT Warangal

Hello Aspirant,
Both NIT Trichy and Warangal are top institutes with good ranking and excellent faculty . And CSE by itself will be the one among those departments with highest placement in most good institutes. So , if you study well, you will get a very good placement in both institutes. But to answer with regard to your question ,NIT Trichy has shown slightly better placements in CSE than Warangal. And in general NIT Trichy has got more reputation. NIT Trichy offers 100% placements in CSE and most other circuital branches. The average salary package offered in CSE is about 15 LPA. Above 90% of the students who sat for internships got it. You may visit the below links to know more :

Assuming you are a General Category Non Tamil Nadu Student, you should target atleast 98-99 percentile in JEE Main, to secure your seat in either Metallurgical, Civil, Instrumentation or Production at NIT Trichy. However, you do have some relief in cutoff, if you are a Domicile student, however 98 Percentile must be your threshold, for better branches at NIT Trichy. Ideally in case of Domicile General Student, you can get either of the above branches at anywhere around 96.5-97 (35-38k AIR) percentile by Last Round of Counselling considering the latest 2020 Cutoffs.
