For SC/ ST, the eligibility is to obtain a minimum of 65% mark.. As per the JEE Main eligibility criteria is the Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or equivalent exam or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 examination... Atleast you have to get above 98 percentile to get into NIT trichy...All the Best

The average package in NIT Trichy in CSE branch is 12-15 lacs per annum. The placement rate is excellent as about 80-85 % students are placed every year.

The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Flipkart ,Goldman Sachs, Samsung and many others. Also, getting a placement is NIT Trichy is relatively easy since a majority of students opt for higher studies. This leaves the other students with less competition for placement.

The opening rank for Electronics and Communication branch at NIT tiruchirappalli last year was 1753 in the first round of JoSAA Counselling. And the closing rank in the first round of JoSAA Counselling was 2910. Later going in the 7th round, the opening rank was around 2137 and the closing rank was 3010.

As you know there is a lot of competition to get into NITs. NIT Trichy is one of the best NITs in India.So you need to have a good percentile to get into NIT Trichy.
Your percentile is very low. The chance to get admission in NIT Trichy would not be possible.

As of this year, the IITs have dropped the 12th board criteria. So you don't have to worry about the JEE. Just focus on the exam and prepare well for it. The cutoff will decide whether you can get a seat or not. The seat also depends on which branch you opt for. As different branches has different cutoff marks in each college.

every year in nit trichy 200+ companies comes to perticipate in the placemebt process. placement percentage of every department is different.most of the bigger packages are taken by the CSE students.

In B.Arch around 60% students are placed  every year.
