Both colleges has got more opportunities and big recruiters in it's placement drive like Google, Facebook and Microsoft, but NIT Trichy has got better placements and more overseas offer.
NIT Trichy has a magnificent campus of 800 acre and has a lot of exposure to Technical Fields. So if you are considering branches like CSE or ECE then you must give priority to NIT Trichy first.
In 2019, an All India Rank of 1189 was the Opening Rank for NIT Trichy under B.Arch programme and 2468 was the Closing rank. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of seats available, Difficulty of the exam, previous year trends and Candidate's Category. For a seat here, you will need atleast a rank below 2200 which means you will need a score of atleast 325 and above.
Hi Aniket,
As NIT Trichy is one of the top and most prestigious NITs in India and hence there is very tough competition for this between JEE-Main Aspirants. Due to this it's cut-off also goes very high and if you demand CSE branch than you have to secure at least 99.8 percentile or more this is due to your reservation category otherwise you have to score 99.9 percentile or more.
I hope this information helps you.

Hey Saitama
National Institute of Technology, Trichy has an average placement record of MBA with highest being offered 12 lakhs per annum and average 7 lakhs per annum and NIT Trichy has is a reputed government college with excellent infrastructure and good academic environment.
In IIT Jodhpur, Master of Business Administration (MBA) have been introduced recently and so MBA side isn't' much established but it is expected to have a good record. So NIT Trichy would be better in comparison to IIT Jodhpur.
You may hustle to get better colleges like IIMs' of old IIT's for MBA, all the best.

The infrastructure of college is quite good , big and well designed . The classroom is properly ventilated and has smart board for effective learning, The library has all the books of different categories and students can issue any of the books in respective time. There are many grounds for respective sports and properly maintained periodically.
It’s campus is so big that moving from one department to other requires a lot of time else you can use bicycles. The view of college is amazing. There is wifi facility along big big classrooms and labs. I don’t suggest you the mess food.
So the campus is having very beautiful greenery all around which makes the best nit of india look great. The hostels are although developed but their can be some improvements to make it advanced. I like the mess food.
