hlwo aspirant
hope you are doing well
i am also a mechanical engineering student so obviously i will recommend you to do mechanical engineering cause it has huge scope in India as well as in abroad.
Skilled mechanical engineers have many opportunities in aerospace, automobile, chemical manufacturing plants, oil exploration, railway coach factory, research, and development.
The mechanical engineering future is very bright. It assures the highest-paying jobs for mechanical engineers. Energy conservation and others. In terms of career opportunities for mechanical engineers, these professionals can find opportunities both in Government and Private organizations.A mechanical engineering degree can lead to careers in many fields, including manufacturing and aerospace. These careers provide strong annual salaries. Mechanical engineers usually have a lot of scope in this field as it involves a lot of designing parts and machinery. Automobile Industry is a humongous sector and one of the essential products in every human's life as without communication, no work is possible.
whereas Instrumentation engineering is the science of the measurement and control of process variables within a production or manufacturing area. Meanwhile, control engineering, also called control systems engineering, is the engineering discipline that applies control theory to design systems with desired behaviors. A qualified Instrumentation engineer has the option to choose his or her work in fields like automation, Railways and construction, MNCs, Manufacturing, Packaging, Machinery, and control systems. The average Instrumentation and control engineering salary in India for fresher graduates is INR 6-7 lakh and above. so it is also a good carrier option you can consider it also.
now it depends upon your interest, in which you are interested both the course are good and have future.
hope this is helpful for you
all the very best for your upcoming future
Dear Aspirant,
It is quite hard to predict the exact situation as it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, the seat matrix of the college, the preferences of the students etc.
Looking at the previous year trends we can say that it is slightly difficult to get CSE in NIT Trichy . You have a chance if you belong to the female category though. Usually one needs to have a rank below 1 K for CSE in NIT Trichy.
You have an excellent chance of getting ECE, Electrical and all the other branches in NIT Trichy
You have a good chance of getting CSE in NIT Warangal, Rourkela and other top NITs

Dear Aspirant,
It is quite hard to predict the exact situation as it depends on the number of students attempting the exam and the preferences of the students etc.
CSE is one of the most preferred branch of engineering in NIT and hence it is highly competitive.
If your CRL is 990, you have an excellent chance of getting CSE in NIT Trichy.
If your category rank is 990, you don't have a good chance of getting CSE .
In this case you have a really good chance of getting Production, and a small chance of getting instrumentation.
Please check the links below for more details.

Hello aspirant,
If you are from the general category then you will find it challenging to get admission to NIT Trichy with this percentile. With 96.5 percentile it is very difficult for general category student to get nit Trichy. If you are from the OBC, SC, or ST categories, you may be able to get a seat there, but branch will still be an issue. Even if you do not get into nit trichy, you can aim for other nits where you may have a better chance of admission.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
Hi
This is difficult to make prediction as cutoff depends upon various factors like :-
-----------) number of students/ candidates that appeared in the jee main exam,
-----------) number of available seats,
-----------) performance of different students in the examination,
-----------) the branch you want,
-----------) the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
With your 142255 rank
Some of the engineering colleges in which you hold a good chance on the basis of past year closing rank are listed below along with the link for their previous year cutoff :-

The infrastructure of college is quite good , big and well designed . The classroom is properly ventilated and has smart board for effective learning, The library has all the books of different categories and students can issue any of the books in respective time. There are many grounds for respective sports and properly maintained periodically.
It’s campus is so big that moving from one department to other requires a lot of time else you can use bicycles. The view of college is amazing. There is wifi facility along big big classrooms and labs. I don’t suggest you the mess food.
So the campus is having very beautiful greenery all around which makes the best nit of india look great. The hostels are although developed but their can be some improvements to make it advanced. I like the mess food.
