last years other state electronics and communication closing rank for sc category was 147. right now ece is the 2nd most demanding stream in india. so you need to get around 200 in jee main to become on safe zone for nit trichy.

For having admission in NIT trichy you need to maintain  a rank below 10k or above 99 percentile, which is about 99.85 percentile for having admission in computer science branch. Still you can have idea of new cutoff by analysing previous year cutoff list given below:

For taking admission in NIT trichy in top branches you must score above 99 percentile in JEE mains as there is percentile criteria because it is conducted by NTA, for having admission in in lower branches you can take admission with approx 88 percentile, this complete data is for general category student.

Cuttoff score for any particular Institute depends upon level of paper and ranking of that Institute..To get seat in NIT TRICHY you need General category rank under 8k..For such rank you need to score 170+ out of 300 score..

Mandatory Courses : B.Sc.( Computer Science, IT & Systems, Mathematics) , BCA
Candidate must pass B.Sc. in Chemistry with Mathematics as one of the subjects in B.Sc. are eligible to apply.

Candidates should possess a qualifying degree in the respective discipline or the relevant discipline from a recognized University/ College
Candidates with 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or for Gen/EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PwD are also eligible to apply
The candidates from Institutes with Aggregate or Honours system of evaluation must have obtained 60% or 6.5 CGPA (Gen/EWS/OBC) and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST/PwD) as aggregate marks
Final year students can also apply on a provisional basis

Some programmes may require Mathematics as a subject during the undergraduate course of study .

As you belong to sc category you have more priority in reservation as you get less marks also you can get seat
In Nit . so if you score 120+ you can can get in seat in Nit
Which you preferred 120 + is good score and you belong to ST category you have more reservation

The infrastructure of college is quite good , big and well designed . The classroom is properly ventilated and has smart board for effective learning, The library has all the books of different categories and students can issue any of the books in respective time. There are many grounds for respective sports and properly maintained periodically.

It’s campus is so big that moving from one department to other requires a lot of time else you can use bicycles. The view of college is amazing. There is wifi facility along big big classrooms and labs. I don’t suggest you the mess food.

So the campus is having very beautiful greenery all around which makes the best nit of india look great. The hostels are although developed but their can be some improvements to make it advanced. I like the mess food.
