Just to get admission in nit it is necessary to have 94 percentile in jee main and 75% marks in class 12 examination. But if you are in some special categories then you have the chances in slightly low marks.

College Infrastructure
The college has a functional infrastructure that supports education effectively. There is, however, room for improvement in terms of facility upgrades and overall maintenance is still required as there is no proper wifi requirements.

The hostel and mess facilities are among the best across all NITs and IITs . We have high speed WiFi in each classrooms and hostel rooms. Mess food is great compare to other top colleges. There is curfew for first year boys . For girls, it is for all year. We have an NIT Hospital for medical issues or emergency.

However, some drawbacks include inconsistent internet connectivity in hostels, average mess food quality, and slower infrastructure upgrades due to its government nature. Overall, the infrastructure supports academic growth effectively, even if it lacks luxury or cutting-edge modern design compared to some newer institutions.
