NIT Trichy is one of the top most NITs in India. Even with home state quota, the closing ranks for different branches range around 20000. If you are applying through All India Quota, then you need to keep a rank within 10000. As you got 81 percentile in Jee main, your expected rank will be 1.65 lakhs. With this rank it is too difficult to get into NIT Trichy for a general category candidate. Though you can check the previous years cutoff for NIT Trichy-
