72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
An applicant possessing a Master Degree in Engineering/Technology/Sciences/ Management/Humanities/Social Sciences in the respective discipline or equivalent with a minimum 60% of marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and Bachelor’s Degree with a 60% of marks or equivalent CGPA shall be eligible to apply for admission to Ph.D. program of the University.
However, the candidates applying for Teaching-cum-Research Fellowship (TRF) shall be required to have a Master's Degree in the respective discipline with 70% marks or equivalent CGPA and Bachelor’s Degree with 60% of marks or equivalent CGPA.
The Research Scholars shall be admitted in the two-stage process through an Entrance Test and an Interview.
